Sanctuary Retreats has introduced its latest offering to the Masai Mara, the luxurious Geoffrey Kent Suite at Sanctuary Olonana.
The Mara River, which runs past the forest setting of The Geoffrey Kent Suite, boasts an abundance of wildlife. This enclave will be an environment that connects guests to the Kenyan landscape, with its sophisticated free-flowing space, containing a private lounge and dining area, two private en-suite bedrooms, and accessed by a private road.
The suites are fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows that open up completely, providing indoor-outdoor living. Floaty beds and midcentury modern-feel furniture blend form with function. The rooms open out on to wraparound decking, featuring a raised infinity pool with a grandstand look-out over the river. There is one additional connecting bedroom for children at the suite.
In addition bathrooms feature freestanding bathtubs, and boast locally quarried stone, Kenyan cedarwood, and all-natural toiletries. Soft, intelligent lighting evokes the ‘golden hour’, with elegant lights gently illuminating the outside terrace.
All meals are prepared by a private chef in the suite’s own kitchen and served in the dining room, with a fully stocked bar where guests can enjoy first-class cocktails.
Guests will also have their own dedicated safari guide and vehicle.
Bookings for the Geoffrey Kent Suite are now open and the first guests will be welcomed on March 18, 2019.
