Glamping along the Zambezi

Written by
Zambezi Mubala Camp in Namibia will become the first of Gondwana Collection’s properties to offer glamping, as of May 1.

The camp is 40 kilometres east of Katima Mulilo on the Namibian side of the Zambezi River.

The glamping (glamorous camping) accommodation comprises eight safari tents, each equipped with four beds, en-suite bathrooms, self-catering kitchens and verandas along the river.

Activities include tailor-made fishing trips, boat trips, bird watching and more. Day trips to Victoria Falls, Chobe National Park and other national parks in the area are also on offer.

Traditional campers can pitch their tents on one of the ten camplets with private sanitary facilities.

Zambezi Mubala Camp also offers an à la carte restaurant and bar. Braai packs and firewood are also available.
