Selinda Canoe Trail - not a flash in the pan

Written by

As the Selinda Spillway's still flowing after 3 years, those who thought the first Selinda CanoeTrail season in 2009 might be the first and last are most definitely wrong.  As the third season starts in May 2011, running through to mid October, if there's one activity that copes and positively loves a good flood it's canoeing!  This 4 days/3 nights 45km long Selinda Canoe Trail is the only activity of its kind in Botswana. With a maximum of 8 guests and 4 team members It provides one of the most serene wildlife experiences in Africa and gives clients a real sense of achievement on their safari.

Then at the end of the Selinda Canoe Trail, Selinda Camp and Zarafa Camp offer a luxurious antidote to aching arms with ultra-comfortable accommodation, massage service and incredible game-viewing from the camp decks and from the new Selinda Hide. The hide is great for bird-watchers, hippo-watchers, brunch-munchers and sundowner-partakers.
